Ness County, KS : Three teens injured in Ness County crash on Tuesday, 22nd December, 2020
Three teenagers were injured early Tuesday when a car skidded off of a roadway in Ness County, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
A 2009 Chevrolet Impala driven by Summer Renee Woods, 16, of Hanston, was eastbound on 110th Road at 1:20 a.m., 4.5 miles west of U.S. 283 and 2 miles south of Ness City, when the driver lost control of the car. The car skidded into the south ditch, rolled once and came to rest on its tires in a tree row facing east.
Woods and a male passenger, Timothy Justice Lees, 15, of Ness City, were not wearing seat belts and sustained what KHP believed were serious injuries. Wood was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita and Lees was taken to the Ness County Hospital in Ness City. Another passenger, 17-year-old Hailey Angel Hunter, 17, from Ness City, was wearing a seat belt. She was taken to the Ness County Hospital with what were believed to be minor injuries.
