Franklin, IN : Man suffers serious injuries in Franklin crash on Saturday May 28,2016.

The Maine State Police handled three suspected alcohol-related motor vehicle incidents during the past week, including one that involved serious injury for a motorist in Franklin Saturday.
In that crash, Trooper Caleb McGary said the operator and sole occupant had been thrown from the vehicle.McGary said Sean Manning, 50, suffered serious injuries.
“Speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash,” McGary said.
Sgt. Jeffrey Ingemi and Trooper Bryan Creamer assisted, as did officers from Maine State Police Troop E and the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department.
The Franklin and Sullivan fire departments and EMTs assisted along with a LifeFlight helicopter.
Trooper Travis Chapman arrested an Ellsworth man after finding him unresponsive in the driver’s seat of his truck, which was located in a ditch off the Bald Mountain Road in Orland May 26.
Chapman charged James Desmond, 48, with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants. Trooper Jacob Ferland assisted.
A traffic stop in Trenton Sunday led to a charge for a Bar Harbor man.
