Chester County, S.C : 1 person dead, 2 injured in crash on Highway 72 in Chester County on Thursday afternoon, February 5, 2015

The driver of a 2003 Toyota SUV died in a crash Thursday afternoon in Chester County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Two passengers were airlifted to the hospital.The SUV went off the road, hit a guardrail and overturned several times, according to reports.

The driver, who is a resident of Chester, S.C., was wearing a seatbelt.

The crash occurred on Highway 72 near the York County line.
