Monett, MO : Marionville man injured in wreck on Interstate 44, east of Mt. Vernon on Friday, July 29, 2016

A Marionville man was injured Friday in a wreck at 8:45 a.m. on Interstate 44, five miles east of Mt. Vernon.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Kyle Huse, 28, of Marionville, was riding a 2014 Kawasaki Ninja westbound when his bike ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned.

Huse suffered moderate injuries and was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

He was wearing a safety device, and the bike was totaled.
