Lake Helen, FL : Truck driver dead after I-4 crash on Tuesday morning, September 6, 2016

The driver of a semi tractor-trailer involved in a crash along Interstate 4 on Tuesday morning has died.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, passersby started performing CPR on the driver, whose truck went into the ditch near Lake Helen around 10:30 a.m.

The driver, who has not yet been identified, was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Troopers are looking into whether the driver suffered a medical issue before the crash.
