Hamel, IL : MSU alum dies from Illinois crash on December, Thursday 30th 2017

A second person with Murray State University ties has died as a result of a recent major wreck in southern Illinois.
In a Facebook message Thursday, MSU President Dr. Bob Davies confirmed that Tori Carroll, 20, of Alhambra, Illinois, died from injuries sustained in the wreck on Nov. 21 on Interstate 55 near Hamel, about 35 miles northeast of St. Louis. The Belleville News-Democrat reported Thursday that Carroll, who had graduated from MSU in May, died at Saint Louis University Medical Center in St. Louis.
