Bowling Green, KY : A motorcycle crash on Interstate 65 on Thursday, August 31, 2017
A motorcycle crash on Interstate 65 claimed the life of a Canadian man Thursday morning.
According to the Kentucky State Police, Paul D. McDonald, 62, of Wellesley, Ontario, was driving a 1998 Harley-Davidson motorcycle in the center lane of northbound I-65 near the 21 mile marker.
As the motorcycle began to merge into the left lane, it struck a piece of debris in the road, causing McDonald to be thrown from the vehicle.
McDonald, who was wearing a helmet, was flown by helicopter to TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Tennessee, where he was pronounced dead. The investigation is ongoing.
