Tulsa, OK : Charles Page High School senior dies in crash west of Tulsa on February, Thursday 15th 2018

A Charles Page High School senior was killed Thursday morning in a crash west of Sand Springs.

Jasmine Schneider, 18, was driving east on Oklahoma 51 in a 2001 Ford Ranger when the crash occurred near 154th West Avenue about 7:40 a.m., the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said in a news release.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 15-year-old passenger had multiple injuries and was taken to St. John Medical Center in Tulsa in unknown condition, the OHP reported.

Troopers did not yet know what caused the crash, but the OHP’s initial report mentioned a second vehicle — a 2012 Jeep Liberty. It was not clear what role that vehicle had in the crash, but its driver reportedly was not injured.

Seatbelts were in use by all involved.
