Troopers say one person is dead and another was transported after a vehicle struck several cars off of Highway 25 in Greenville County.
Troopers say a Kia Soul was traveling north on Highway 25 at Woodville Road around 2:20 a.m. on Sunday. The vehicle traveled off of the right side of the road, continued on for several hundred feet, struck several vehicles at a residence, and overturned several times.
The 22-year-old driver was wearing a seatbelt, was not ejected and was transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital.
A front-seat passenger was ejected, was not wearing a seatbelt, and was transported via LifeFlight to Greenville Memorial where they later succumbed to their injuries.
The coroner later identified the victim as Keundra M. Smith, 18, of Charlotte.
The crash remains under investigation.
