Oklahoma City, OK : 40-year-old man killed in Bryan County crash on Saturday night, October 1, 2016

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 40-year-old man believed to be driving under the influence was killed in a crash after passing out behind the wheel.

A preliminary report from the patrol says Mead resident Travis Lee Sanford was killed in the Saturday night crash in Bryan County.

Sanford was pronounced dead at the scene from his injuries. A juvenile passenger was in stable condition after being transferred to a hospital in Plano, Texas.

The patrol says Sanford was traveling northbound on a county road when he lost control of the vehicle after passing out.

His car ran off the right side of the road, struck several trees and came to rest on the driver’s side.
