Port Richey,FL : Off-duty paramedic hit by a car Thursday morning, August 6th 2015

An off-duty paramedic was hit by a car Thursday morning, just after he responded to the scene of a crash.

It all began around 6:15 when a car crashed into the back end of a tractor-trailer on US 19 near Jasmine Boulevard.

The paramedic was at the Arby's nearby, and was talking on a cell phone while walking to the wreck.
