Joplin, MO : Three injured in area traffic accidents on Sunday, December 4th, 2016
A Cassville resident was injured in a single-car accident at 5:40 p.m. Sunday on Route F, 7 miles south of Cassville in Barry County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Haley L. Jereczek, 23, of Cassville, was heading east when she struck a deer. Her vehicle traveled off the road and struck an embankment, the patrol said.
Jereczek suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Cassville.
• Two individuals were injured in a single-vehicle accident at 2:50 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 44, 4 miles west of Mount Vernon in Lawrence County, according to the state patrol.
The patrol said the driver, Trisha M. Summer, 34, of Nixa, traveled off the right side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned. Summer suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
A passenger, Gary E. Ruble, 24, of Springfield, suffered minor injuries and was also taken to Mercy Hospital Springfield, the patrol said.
