South Naples, FL : Driver killed in SUV rollover on Davis Boulevard east of County Barn Road on Saturday morning, August 20, 2016

One person is dead after a crash Saturday morning in East Naples, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.

Michael Jones, 32, of Naples, was killed when the 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe he was driving rolled over about 10 a.m. on Davis Boulevard east of County Barn Road, troopers said.

Jones was traveling west on Davis Boulevard, approaching Unity Way, when he entered the grass median and crossed into the lanes for eastbound traffic, according to an FHP report. Jones swerved and over-corrected, causing the sport utility vehicle to overturn.

Jones was ejected from the SUV when it rolled. He was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at Naples Community Hospital.

No one else was injured, troopers said.
