Seneca,SC : Woman arrested after hit-and-run killing 11-year-old lied about hitting deer on February, Saturday 17th 2018
Two arrests have been made in the fatal hit and run in Oconee County that killed a Seneca Middle School student.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the collision occurred on Owens Road at Wells Highway in Seneca around 9:30 p.m. Saturday evening.
According to the Oconee County Coroner's Office, Emmalee Budrevich, 11, of Owens Road was walking to her home from a nearby Dollar General with two friends when she was hit along Wells Highway.
Troopers said the suspect vehicle, believed to be a white 2005-2010 Chevrolet Tahoe, then left the scene. Budrevich died at the scene from her injuries.
