Springfield, IL : Victims in fiery crash in Preble County ID’d on Thursday, 22nd September 2016

The victims from Thursday’s fiery crash in the area of the exit ramp from I-70 to U.S. 127 have been identified.
Troopers said Mohamud Aden, 27, of Illinois was driving a semi when he crashed into two other vehicles including another semi and a car. Aden was transported to Preble County Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
Aden’s passenger was identified as Ali Somow, 28, of Columbus, and Somow was transported to the hospital aboard CareFlight and at last check was in critical condition, according to OSP.
The driver of the other semi involved in the crash was Jack Kline, 65, of Virginia. Kline was transported to Preble County Medical Center for treatment.
The female driver in the car, Heather Lake, 42, of Eaton, also was transported to Preble County Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.
Troopers said the investigation is ongoing and they plan to present possible charges against the at-fault driver, Aden, to the Preble County Prosecutor’s Office.
