St. Paul, MN : Teenager dies after car crash during St. Paul police chase on Wednesday, November 26, 2014

A St. Paul teenager who was allegedly driving erratically in a stolen car as he was chased by police has died after a crash. St. Paul police say 15-year-old John McAfee died at Regions Hospital on Wednesday. Police say they came across a stolen car in the area of 4th and Robert Street early Wednesday. McAffee was the only person in the car. The officers tried to stop him and used lights and sirens but he drove away, passing other cars and going into opposite lanes of traffic. Police lost sight of the car. An officer crossed the Robert Street overpass and saw McAffee had crashed. He was transported to the hospital and later died.
