CHARLOTTE, NC : Cyclist killed in SW Charlotte hit & run on Friday, 23rd February 2024

One person has lost their life after a crash between a vehicle and a bicycle, according to the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD).
Officials say the hit-and-run happened around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23. in the 12600 block of South Tryon Street near Steele Creek Road.
Officers arrived to find a cyclist, Christopher Ryan Starr, who had been hit by a vehicle that did not stop after the wreck.
