Cocoa, FL : Woman arrested in hit-and-run crash in Cocoa on Tuesday, September 13, 2016
An arrest was made after a hit-and-run crash Tuesday around 2 p.m. involving a pedestrian.
It happened at the intersection of U.S. 1 at State Road 520. A man was struck by a vehicle, according to Cocoa police.
Cocoa police arrested Shepard Seamans, 22, in connection with the crash.
Police in Brevard County arrested Seamans, accusing her of striking a homeless man with her gold SUV and leaving the scene.
The man was seen walking around, holding a sign at about 2 p.m. Tuesday on State Road 520, east of U.S. 1.
Police tracked the suspected gold Ford to Cheaters Adult Entertainment Club in Cocoa Beach.
WESH 2 News talked to a witness who watched the violent crash and helped the victim.
Officers worked to capture evidence of the hit-and-run crash.
