Milton, VT : Three people seriously injured in car crash on Tuesday night August 4th 2015.

There was a serious car crash in Milton Tuesday night.

Just after 8 p.m., police say a vehicle hit a tree on Westford Road. Three people were inside. One was trapped and had to be rescued by fire crews. Police say that person is in serious condition but was conscious when transported to the UVM Medical Center. The other two were also taken to the hospital.

The crash is still under investigation, but police say speed and alcohol were likely factors.
