Woodland, CA : County Road 102 collision near Woodland resulted in minor injuries n CR102, north of County Road 18C on Monday, 9th September 2019
A Monday afternoon collision on County Road 102 north of Woodland looked worse than it actually was, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred around 1:04 p.m. on CR102, north of County Road 18C.
According to the CHP, a 2018 Acura, driven by Roland Dreher, 67, of Prescott, Ariz., was traveling north on CR102 when at the same time, a Kenworth semi tractor-trailer rig, driven by Burnice Mistler, 58, of West Sacramento, was traveling southbound.
For an unknown reason, the Acura traveled into the southbound lane where it collided with the Kenworth.
As a result of the collision, Dreher was taken to the UC Davis Medical Center for treatment, after being extricated from his vehicle by Woodland firefighters.
Neither alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision, according to the CHP.
Woodland police responded to the scene and provided traffic control until the CHP arrived.
