CORTLAND, NY : Cortland man faces meth manufacturing charges after crash on Monday, 14th January 2019
A Cortland man faces manufacturing meth charges after an one-vehicle crash Monday night in the town of Cortlandville, according to Cortland County sheriff’s deputies.
Jacob D. Falso, 25, of Cortland, was involved in a property damage accident on Kellogg Road when he failed to negotiate a curve, deputies said.. During the accident investigation it was determined that Falso, being the only occupant of the vehicle, was in possession of several items used to manufacture methamphetamine, along with a hypodermic instrument, deputies said.
Falso was charged with second-degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine. a felony, and and criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument, a misdemeanor, deputies said. He was arraigned in Cortlandville Town Court and remanded to the Cortland County Jail without bail.
Falso is due to return court this morning.
