A person was taken to the hospital after an accident in West Brighton Wednesday afternoon.

A spokesman for the FDNY said an individual was taken to Richmond University Center in West Brighton after the crash occurred on Castleton Avenue near Broadway around 3:49 p.m.

He could not say what condition the person was in.
