POLK COUNTY, IA : Driver killed after leaving roadway, crashing into tree on Sunday, 6th September, 2020

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said a man died Sunday morning after his vehicle crashed into a tree.

Deputies were dispatched to the area of NE 94th Avenue and Highway 65 around 7:40 a.m. after a passerby found a vehicle in a ditch.Upon arrival, deputies found a 2020 white Kia Soul crashed into the ditch. Authorities pronounced the driver dead at the scene of the crash.
