Derry, N.H : Motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in hit-and-run crash on Route 102 on Thursday, May 7, 2015

Derry police are investigating a serious crash on Route 102. Investigators responded to the hit and run crash around 6:45 p.m. Thursday.

Officers said a car hit a motorcycle and then took off. Two people who were on the bike were injured, according to police.

The man suffered life-threatening injuries. A woman on the bike was hurt, but her injuries aren't life-threatening.

News 9 has learned that one person is in custody in connection with the crash.

A section of Route 102 was closed for several hours as police investigated.
