IOSCO COUNTY, MI : Man arrested following Iosco Co police chase motorcycle crash on Thursday, 19th September 2024

The Tawas City Police Department said a man was arrested following a police chase that led to a crash on Thursday, Sept. 19.

Police said shortly after 2 a.m. on Thursday, Iosco County 911 received a report regarding a motorcycle driver who was suspected of involvement in a criminal sexual conduct (CSC) case that had been reported earlier that evening.

The person who reported the crime gave a description of a motorcycle, which was seen leaving a Speedway gas station in Oscoda Township, police said.
