A Whiteside County man died this week on his motorcycle as a result of a fatal crash involving a Whiteside County Sheriff's Office squad car.

William G. Damhoff, 58, of Morrison, Illinois, and Deputy Jeffrey A. Wunderlich, 33, were injured in the crash. Both were transported to CGH Hospital in Sterling, where Damhoff later died.
