Glastonbury,CT : 1 killed in serious crash on Route 3 in Glastonbury on December, Saturday 29th 2017

A 51-year-old woman was killed in a serious car crash on Route 3 in Glastonbury Saturday evening.

State police said Devara Lee Koromanian of Glastonbury was driving on the bridge over the Connecticut River between Glastonbury and Wethersfield when she lost control of her minivan and hit a barrier several times.

Police said she was ejected from the vehicle. She was transported to Hartford Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

The crash happened around 8:39 p.m.

Route 3 southbound was closed at Main Street for a time.

Police are still investigating the accident.
