GREENFIELD, IA : At least four killed in Greenfield tornado neighbors on Tuesday, 21st May 2024

Greenfield, Iowa residents say four of their neighbors did not survive the devastating storms that passed through the area on Tuesday, the Des Moines Register reports.

Officials have not provided an official number of people that died in the storms, saying they’re waiting for search and rescue operations to be completed so they can give an accurate number.

The Iowa State Patrol did, however, acknowledge on Tuesday that there were multiple deaths. At least a dozen people went to hospitals after the tornado flattened home after home. There has been no updates on their conditions.
