1 dead, 2 injured in early morning crash on I-44

One person is dead and two are injured after three vehicles collided on eastbound Interstate 44 Saturday morning. Police say the accident happened around 5 a.m. just east of the Union, Missouri exit on I-44 at mile marker 248 in Franklin County. All lanes of eastbound I-44 have been closed since the accident.
