Medina,OH : 3 injured in Montville crash on May, Wednesday 16th 2018
At least three people were transported to area hospitals following a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon at state Routes 57 and 162, Police Chief Terry Grice said.
At about 5:15 p.m., Grice said the driver of a southbound Ford Fusion on Route 57 that was attempting to turn east onto Route 162 failed to yield to a northbound Hummer, which hit the car.
“The Fusion had three occupants,” the chief said.
A 16-year-old passenger was transported by emergency helicopter to an area hospital, he said.
“The backseat passenger was taken to Medina (Hospital), the driver was evaluated at the scene, and then the driver of the Hummer was also transported to Medina,” Grice said.
Any charges would be determined after an investigation is completed, he said.
The road reopened at about 7 p.m.
