Two people were injured in two-vehicle crash on state Highway 133 at County Road 34 on Friday.

Washington County sheriff's deputies and rescue units from Fort Calhoun and Kennard responded to the scene just before 7 a.m.

Sgt. Shane Thallas said the driver of a silver Ford was westbound on CR 34 and had crossed the intersection. However, the driver then attempted to make a u-turn to head east on CR 34 and failed to see a northbound Honda CRV, which struck the passenger side of the Ford.
