ST. LOUIS, MO : 1 dead after single-car crash in north St. Louis on Monday, 29th April 2024

A passenger was killed, and a driver was critically injured in a late-night crash Monday.

Police said the crash occurred on North Broadway and Campbell in north St. Louis around 10 p.m. According to police, the 2005 Chevrolet Impala left the roadway and hit a light pole, building, stop sign and fire hydrant.

The car’s driver and a passenger were taken to the hospital following the crash. The passenger was later pronounced dead. The driver was listed in critical, but stable condition.

Accident reconstruction is handling the ongoing investigation.
