LAWRENCE, KS : Driver taken to hospital after collision with tree spotted by passersby on Saturday, 5th October 2024

One driver was taken to a Kansas City hospital after passersby saw her pickup against a tree along a rural road south of Lawrence.

The Douglas County, Kansas, Sheriff’s Office says that around 2:10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, emergency crews were called to the 1400 block of N. 1100 Rd., about one mile west of Highway 59 south of Lawrence, after passersby saw a pickup truck against a tree.
