COLORADO SPRINGS, CO : 17-year-old driver cited after motorcycle crash on Saturday, 6th July 2019

A teenager was cited for careless driving after turning in front of a motorcycle Saturday night.
The motorcycle rider was traveling through the intersection of Boychuk Avenue and Hancock Expressway when the 17-year-old driver turned left in front of him, police said. The crash was reported just before 9:20 p.m.
"Upon arriving on scene, we located the motorcycle driver just west of the intersection. The other driver was also still on scene," said Sgt. Rebecca Smith with the Colorado Springs Police Department.
The rider, identified as a 27-year-old male, was taken to the hospital with multiple injuries, including a broken arm. The injuries are not life-threatening.
The teen was cited for careless driving causing bodily injury.
