Manchester ,MD: Two-car collision leads to shock trauma for one on Wednesday morning. ,July 8th 2015

One person was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center after a two-car collision in Manchester on Wednesday morning.

Police responded to Md. 30 near the intersection of Ebbvale Road at about 11:30 a.m. for a report of a crash, according to a spokesman from the Maryland State Police Westminster Barrack.

Preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle traveling north stopped to turn onto Ebbvale Road when a second vehicle failed to stop and pushed the first car into a guardrail, causing it to overturn, according to police.

The driver of the overturned vehicle was taken to shock trauma, according to the spokesman.

No other occupants were injured, according to police.

Police did not release the names of the individuals involved or indicate charges were pending.
