DOUGLASS TOWNSHIP, MI : 1 killed, 1 injured in motorcycle crash near Stanton on Tuesday, 15th August 2023

The Montcalm County Sheriff’s Office says it was misinformed when it was told one of the people involved in a motorcycle crash near Stanton had died.

“We received information from medical personnel last evening that one of the individuals involved in the motorcycle crash had died. We have since learned the person did not die,” the sheriff’s office said in a Wednesday afternoon Facebook post.

The sheriff’s office put out a release Wednesday morning saying one person had been killed and another injured in the crash that happened on Stanton Road near Nevins Road in Douglass Township around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
