SEDALIA, MO : 6 dead in separate crashes, all within 15-hour-period across Missouri on Monday, 23rd October 2023

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is reporting six separate crashes which resulted in six deaths across various across the state of Missouri recently.

The six deadly crashes all happened within a 15-hour time frame of each other starting from Sunday afternoon on October 22, through Monday morning on October 23.

The first crash occurred at 4:33 p.m. on Sunday in Pettis County. State police said five people were riding in a 2022 Canam UTV when it overturned making a turn.

One adult and four children were in the crash and all from Sedalia, Mo. One child was pronounced dead while the other children had minor injuries.


Three hours later, state police responded to I-270 in St. Louis County where a 2016 Honda Accord was involved in a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash.
