YORK, SC : A person was killed in York County on Wednesday, August 9, 2017

Deputies are conducting a homicide investigation after a person was killed in York County Wednesday.

The incident happened on Justin Drive, which is off of Highway 161 in Clover near York. Officials said one person was killed and another person was in custody, but did not give further details.

There is no word on what may have led to the killing.

No names have been released.
