WINFIELD, KS : Patrol Woman child injured by hit-and-run driver in Winfield on Tuesday, 19th December 2023

A woman and child suffered what the Kansas Highway Patrol described as suspected serious injuries when they were hit by a pickup truck in Winfield late Tuesday night.

It happened at around 11 p.m. at 1902 Main Street, which is the address of a Pizza Hut. The patrol reports a Ford F-150 was northbound in the parking lot, struck a 30-year-old woman and a juvenile, and then left the scene.
