Jose Daniel Rocha Oregel, 21, of Hesperia, was identified by the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department as the man who died following a crash on Bear Valley Road early Monday.
Authorities said in a Tuesday news release that Oregel was headed east on Bear Valley Road in a 2007 Yamaha R6 motorcycle approaching Ninth Avenue when a driver in a blue 2013 Freightliner semitrailer made a left turn from westbound Bear Valley Road to head south on Ninth Avenue. It is not yet known if alcohol, drugs, or speed were factors in the crash and no other details have yet been released.
