Deltona ,FL : Man, 60, struck and killed by truck on Thursday night ,July 30th 2015

A 60-year-old man was killed after he was struck by a truck while to cross Lake Helen-Osteen Road in Deltona, deputies said.The accident happened around 9:23 p.m. Thursday, according to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.The truck was traveling southbound on Lake Helen-Osteen Road near the intersection with Capri Circle when the victim walked into the roadway and was struck.Robert Boles, who lived in Deltona, was transported via ambulance to Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford.Boles was pronounced dead at 10:22 p.m.A man was driving the truck with a woman passenger. Neither was injured.
Preliminary indications are the driver wasn't at fault, but the Volusia County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the crash.
