Tucson, AZ : 23-year-old Miguel Rodriguez-Romero killed, and two juveniles injured in wrong-way, single-vehicle crash on Golf Links Road early Tuesday, February 9, 2016

The driver who was killed in a wrong-way crash on Golf Links Road early Tuesday, Feb. 9 has been identified.

Authorities said 23-year-old Miguel Rodriguez-Romero was driving westbound on Golf Links Road just before 1:30 a.m. when he lost control and crossed over into the eastbound lanes, according to a news release.

He struck a curb, several large shrubs and a tree, causing the vehicle to rollover.

Two juvenile passengers were taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Golf Links Road was closed for several hours after the crash. Davis-Monthan Air Force Base remained open.
