Green Lake, WI : Ripon man killed, another injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Green Lake County early Thursday, January 22, 2015

One man was killed and another injured in a traffic accident in Green Lake County early Thursday morning.

Randy L. Rich, 49, of Ripon was in a van on Sunnyside Road in the Town of Brooklyn that struck a driveway embankment and hit a utility pole and a second embankment before overturning at about 3 a.m., according to the Green Lake County Sheriff's Department.

Rich, who was pronounced dead at the scene, and a 30-year-old Green Lake man were ejected from the vehicle.

The 30-year-old man was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The sheriff's department reported that speed appears to be a factor in the severity of the crash.
