Las Vegas, NV : Man injured in scooter crash near West Mandalay Bay Road on Wednesday afternoon, November 26, 2014

A scooter and a pickup truck collided on the Las Vegas Strip this afternoon, sending a man to the hospital, Metro Police said. Police received a report of the crash about 3 p.m. on Las Vegas Boulevard South, near West Mandalay Bay Road, Officer Larry Hadfield said. The man driving the scooter was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center with injuries that did not appear life-threatening, Hadfield said.
