Florence, SC : 21-year-old man killed in single-vehicle crash Tuesday night, December 6, 2016

A 21-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Oakland Avenue and Old Marion Highway in Florence just before midnight on Tuesday, according to Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken.

The deceased is identified as Amin Ishmael Cooper of Florence, the coroner says.

Cooper and a passenger were transported to a local hospital where Cooper was pronounced dead. The passenger is expected to survive, Lutcken added.
