Anchorage,AK : Pedestrian injured, 2 cars damaged in crashes across Anchorage on January, Sunday 7th 2018

All lanes of traffic closed at O’Malley near Elmore Rd. Sunday afternoon due to a head-on collision involving two cars, officers on scene said. APD said there were no injuries reported.The road reopened shortly after 3 p.m.

Across town, at the intersection of C and 15th streets, police say a pedestrian was hit by a car around 12:30 in the afternoon. Responding Firefighters said the pedestrian was taken to a hospital and did not appear to have serious injuries. Nora Morse, a spokesperson for the Anchorage Police Department said the driver stayed at the scene.
