Austin,TX : 1 killed in accident at U.S. 54, Mesquite Hill Drive in Northeast El Paso on December, Wednesday 27th 2017

A person was killed in a traffic accident Wednesday afternoon in far Northeast El Paso, police said.

Police were investigating the deadly accident that killed at least one person on Mesquite Hill Drive and U.S. 54 North, police said via Twitter.

A small vehicle appeared to have rolled and was upside down in the desert.

The Special Traffic Investigations Unit was working at the scene. U.S. 54 North was closed at McCombs Street.

Further details were not immediately available.
