BOCA RATON, FL : Fatal crash shuts down multiple northbound lanes of I-95 in Boca Raton on Friday, 8th November 2024

All northbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Boca Raton are back open on Friday afternoon following a fatal crash.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the wreck happened just before 6 a.m. at mile marker 50, which is north of Yamato Road.

Multiple northbound lanes were blocked for hours on Friday and traffic was backed up for miles. All lanes eventually reopened before 1 p.m.

Our WPTV News crew at the scene saw at least two vehicles smashed up: a white SUV and a blue pickup truck.
