One person was critically injured and four other people were moderately injured when a vehicle crashed and caught fire in Hacienda Heights, authorities said today.
The accident occurred around 10:15 p.m. in the 14400 block of Edgeridge Road, Los Angeles County Fire Department Supervisor Kyle Sandford said.
The vehicle fire spread to nearby brush, but both blazes were extinguished, Sandford said.
The vehicle’s occupants were in their late teens and early 20s, California Highway Patrol Officer Monica Posada said.
Posada said the vehicle, identified by a videographer at the scene as a Dodge Charger, struck a wall and then caught fire.
