BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC : 1 killed, 1 injured in Beaufort Co. crash involving truck, motorcycle on Wednesday, 14th February 2024

A motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a truck in Beaufort County early Wednesday morning, the South Carolina Highway Patrol said.

The crash happened around 12:25 a.m. Wednesday on Robert Smalls Parkway near Goethe Hill Road.

Master Trooper William Bennett said a 2012 Ford pickup truck was turning left from Goethe Hill Road onto Robert Smalls Parkway when it collided with a 2019 Kawasaki motorcycle going west on Robert Smalls Parkway.

The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.
